This Privacy Policy explains how Highspitality (“Highspitality,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit learn.highspitality.com or enroll in our courses (the “Service”).

Account information: name, email address, password, phone number, mailing address, company name, profession, and other fields you submit when creating an account or enrolling in a course.
Payment information: when you purchase a course, payment card or bank details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor. Highspitality does not store full card numbers on its own servers.
Usage data: pages visited, course progress, quiz/assessment results, certificates earned, device and browser information, and IP address.
Communications: messages you send through the Contact Us form or by email.
- To create and manage your account and course enrollments
- To process payments and issue receipts
- To deliver course content, track completion, and issue certifications
- To respond to support requests submitted via the Contact page
- To send service updates, and — only if you opted in — marketing emails about new courses
- To maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations
We share information only with the following categories of service providers, each bound by their own data-protection obligations:
- Our learning platform host, LearnWorlds, which stores course and account data on our behalf
- Our payment processor, which handles and stores payment card data directly
- Our email marketing provider (MailerLite), for opted-in newsletter communicationsLaw enforcement or regulators, only when required by law
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We use cookies for essential site functionality (login sessions, age verification) and, where enabled, analytics cookies to understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working.
We retain account and course records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and certification-verification obligations (for example, so a past student can confirm certification status to an employer).
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA; EU/UK residents have rights under GDPR. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including relying on our platform and payment processors' PCI-DSS-compliant infrastructure for payment data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
The Service is intended for hospitality professionals 21 years of age or older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Our Service may link to third-party sites (for example, social media). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we do not operate.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date, and, where required by law, we will provide additional notice.
